River of Life Kuala Lumpur Rejuvenation & Redevelopments

According to a news report dated August 2011, AECOM, a US-based engineering and architectural firm, has been chosen to carry out a river beautification project worth RM1 billion (US$337 million). It will work on a 10.7km stretch of the Klang and Gombak River, which traverses the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur. The global consultancy was picked for the "River of Life" project after being one of the 5 shortlisted for a competition earlier this year. [More details will be released in due course]
