Mid Valley Pantai New Development

Mid Valley City Phase III

Plans are underway to develop the final component of Mid Valley City. The 0.8ha vacant site was initially meant for a convention centre, and later the plan was changed to two 50-storey residential skyscrapers. By taking advantage of Mid Valley City's MSC status, IGB Corporation now plans to develop the site with two iconic office towers worth more than RM1 billion.

KL ECOCITY

Formerly a slump area known as Kampung Abdullah Hukum, the urban redevelopment scheme by S P Setia and Kuala Lumpur City Hall will include the development of luxurious Grade A office and signature towers, three clusters of boutique offices, studio-sized condominiums, retail space and other amenities including a proposed MRT station to compliment Mid Valley Megamall and The Gardens Mall.

American architecture and urban planning firm The Jerde Partnership was commissioned to ensure the development has an efficient and effective human and vehicular traffic flow. Jerde has done similar integrated mixed-used developments, such as Roppongi Hills in Tokyo, Japan and Zlote Tarasy in Warsaw, Poland.

MBMR Tower

Automotive company, MBM Resources Bhd via its subsidiary Federal Auto Holdings Bhd plans to redevelop its current headquarters off Jalan Syed Putra into a 26-storey Grade A green-rated office building. The new building, due for completion in 2013, will have a RM12 million Volvo showroom and Federal Auto will lease or sell any unused space to generate revenue.


Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar (previously Plaza Cygal 3)

Tenaga Nasional Headquarters (status: cancelled, for illustration only)

This will be South-east Asia's largest power producer future corporate headquarters. Designed by prominent Malaysian architect Hijjaz Kasturi, the iconic structure incorporating Malaysian elements will be situated next to its existing offices in Jalan Bangsar, adjacent to TM Tower.

An upcoming development by Metro Kajang Group joint venture comprising 424 units of condominiums and three-storey condovillas.


Bangsar Trade Centre (Redevelopment of Plaza Pantai)
